Why Master Molds?

Simply put, Master Molds are absolutely the best value on the market that is available for holster makers.
Starting with a 3D Scan, the firearm is carefully reverse engineered and defeatured, with appropriate blocking added for controls, ejection ports, trigger guards etc…
Once the base mold is designed, we draft appropriate areas to help both with mold release from the casting mold, but also with plastic removal post thermoforming.
The molds are designed to accommodate MOST suppressor height sights and MOST aftermarket parts to replace safeties, takedown levers etc...
Once the design phase is mostly done, we oversize the entire CAD model by the shrinkage factor of the casting material. This helps ensure that the molds come out of the silicone as close to the firearm size as we can make them.
